I’ll be honest with you, I’m not a fan of antique mirrored furniture. And this isn’t a slight against it, I just like the way modern, contemporary furniture looks. Nevertheless, that’s no reason not to help out you fellow collectors and aficionados of furniture covered in mirrors find the antiques you’re looking for. Thus, today I have compiled a strong collection of great looking antiqued mirrored furniture pieces for you to check out.
The Antiqued Mirrored Chest at Neiman Marcus is absolutely gorgeous. It is made with handcrafted wood and the eglomise chest even comes with reverse painted floral designs which really make it “pretty” in my eyes. Very expensive at $2,199 plus $400 shipping but with it’s subtle reflection and delightful design, it’s almost a must have for any serious antique collection.
Shades of Light will really blow you away when it comes to beautiful designs and selection. First, try on the Mirrored Hall Chest with Magazine Storage. This 5 drawer chest has it’s hardwood is painted in 18 karat gold! $1,198 for the price is pretty cheap if you ask me. Shades of Light also has a similar style gold mirrored buffet on sale for $1,799.00, marked down from $1998. Mirrored furniture on sale is difficult to find so this 10% discount is a very nice find.
B & T Antiques out of the UK has an antique etched mirrored dressing table with the classic bowed legs and petite frame. The piece is especially beautiful because the etched flower designs bear no color differentiation from the mirror. There is no price listed for this item, you must request it from the online store.
The Gold Antiqued table referred to as the “Madison Antique Mirror Console – Worlds Away” is unlike anything you’ve seen so far (or at least most of you have seen so far). I love the outright gold color to it and the swirling design to it. This reverse antique table looks very established and reminds me of something you’d see in an upscale New York office lobby. The price is $2,200 but you can consider it on virtual sale as Tonic Home gives free shipping to any purchase over $500. The original cost may be a little higher though in respect to other pieces you can buy online.
