Today, I decided to grab the most beautiful mirrored furniture off the web and condense it into a blog for those of you looking for that reflective centerpiece or quietly stunning accent furniture.
Pottery Barn has the Park Mirrored Bedside Table for $399. You can only buy this one online. A 19th century piece with champagne finish on the trim and knobs looks fantastic. Comes with two drawers. Obviously you want to keep this in your bedroom as a place to lay your journal and tug at lamp cord when you’re done for the night.
Butler Furniture has an Upholstered Ottoman coated with a mirrored finish on the legs and base. The fabric is made from cotton and is colored ivory. Perfect for any antique or elegant living room. Has a majestic feel.
The Amelie Mirrored Nightstand is currently on sale for 25% off at Horchow. Laced with antique silver and gold lining and five subdivided cabinets, this is another winner. Cost is $629.90 and add shipping of $230, but don’t forget to take off for the discount. This one is a better nightstand option if your taste favors intricate design over simplicity.
The Gloria Mirroed Chest from Neiman Marcus is lined in antique silver and gives off more of a brushed, rustic feel than the other smoother looking mirrored furniture options. Nieman Marcus also had a beautiful suggested mirrored three drawer chest at $769 and $360 for delivery.
This reminds me of some advice on buying mirrored furniture I forgot to mention in previous blogs. Remember that you always want to buy from local outlets and shops if you can or better yet, have the retail stores order in the pieces if they’re not currently available at any nearby physical locations. The shipping on this sophisticated furniture is understandably high but really gobbles up your budget.
Instead of paying 40 to 50% the cost of the furniture on shipping and handling, get it free by going to the store. You can always request they place an order and even when it arrives you still don’t have to buy it. If you order online, you’re basically stuck with the merchandise. Imagine ordering it and then having to return it and just the travel alone costing you the price of another piece.
Finally, the Pier 1 Hayworth Collection is quite extensive. It includes an armoir, stand, vanity, and dresser among others. Also, these aren’t mirrored but I thought a half moon table might work well as a complement in the room.
