Mirrored Furniture is on Fire
Do you have any mirrored furniture?, I asked the owner of a local furniture shop today. She replied, “no, as soon as we get it in, it sells.” It was then I realized how popular mirrored furniture is. The shop I visited is notorious for getting in very upscale and elegant stuff and is treated as a fine retailer, but unfortunately all they had was a mirrored screen and a mirrored jewelry cabinet which I guess technically counts but isn’t the same as a mirrored coffee table or desk – stuff in that genre.
A few months ago, my friend told me a story of how she went to an antique store and saw a beautiful mirrored floor cabinet that was $700. She decided to think about it and over the week she decided that it was a must have. She went back the next weekend and guess what? Yeah, you guessed it, the mirrored cabinet was gone. Although it can be pricey, whether you’re buying antique or modern mirrored furniture, the price is probably worth the beauty afforded to your home. And if you don’t think so, someone else will.
